Can I request for judgment debt to be dismissed for fraud activities of Mann Bracken collection agency?
$5000 credit card debt defaulted in 2001, moved away to northern CA in 2002, Mann Bracken, LLP collection agency brought my account and filed a lawsuit in 2002 without me knowing it, they serve all the paperwork to old address in southern CA and somehow got a judgment because I did not know or show up in court. Now 2010, I just found out what had happened but Mann Bracken, LLP went out of business because of bankruptcy and lawsuits filed against them for illegal activities as serving paperwork to credit card debtors old address to get judgment. They sold my account before bankruptcy 2010 to Palisades Collection who refuse to to negotiate with me balance of $10,000. What should I do? Can I file a lawsuit against them to ask for dismissal?
This is complex enough and worth enough that you should ask an attorney. Filing a lawsuit yourself is pointless if there’s no legal standing for it. A couple of hundred for good legal advice is worth the investment.

i live in ireland. i want to buy clothes from the river island website because they charge less for it on the english site because its in pounds. even when they change it to euro its less than it would be in the shop even with delivery. Say the price is £15 on the website but €21 euro in shops in ireland. If you get it form the shop the prive will be about €17 euro. So will i get it for 17 or 21 if i buy it off the site ?
